About this artwork
This is a mixed medium oil on canvas with charcoal and pastel. The piece is part of a diptych series. The artist’s studio is located in the beach town Malibu, California, where a weather condition, known as Coastal Eddie, creates a moody and misty experience at the shoreline. This painting represents a walk on the beach in the middle of a strong Coastal Eddy. The artist’s intention is to provoke a sense of calmness and optimism for the viewer.
Stretched,… unframed. 1.5" deep.
« I pursue the process of making art with fearless efforts to be original, and most importantly to be in love with art. »
