About this artwork
The Fates, Consistently portrayed as three women spinners, each of the three Fates had a different task. The first Fate creates the fabric of life, the second Fate, measures its allotted length of the fabric, and the third Fate cuts Life off with her shears. Sometimes, each of the Fates are assigned to a specific period of time: the past, the present, and the future. My challenge was why am I so driven to create this next set of paintings? Questions…
regarding length of our lives and do we have impact by the choices we make, started to swirl in my thoughts.

« Painting is my wild place. Searching for truths about people consumes me. I am drawn to stories told with silent visual expressions and body language. »
