About this artwork
My work was inspired by the idea of learning to forgive ourselves and to be kind to ourselves.
Sometimes, a lifetime is not enough.
The piece is meant to serve as a reminder to be loving towards ourselves.
It is meant to remind us not to be our own worst enemy and harshest critic.
I wanted to convey to the viewer a sense of tranquility, calm , and serenity.
The "fucking" comes out because it's so frustrating to be overly critical of oneself.
