About this artwork
Time is the absolute limit.
Resisting is meaningless.
Therefore the Octopus needs to resist.
I choose octpus often as a motif for my art, not because it has kind of scary, strenge look, but it has flexible many arms to reach many more things than us. It is all depends on how you see, is it trying to stop the time? or Does it try to rewind the time so it can go back to the time when it regret something? Or, perhaps, it wants to fast forward the time.…
There is always the special time that we all have in our heart. May be it is memorable moment, happy time, the time you miss most, or regret and want to redo if there is a chance. Past is in past, it never comes back to us, but we can always come back to, in our mind. I have created this piece thinking of these moments that we all experience.
I hope this would be the a piece that can bring a joy of memory.
