Chloé Malard is a prize-winning painter and draftsman whose works have been exhibited nationally, in the United Kingdom and Italy. The recurring theme in the French artist's work is the portrait. Her subjects are depicted in numerous manners, including close-up, full-length, or in the form of a life scene. In Malard's last series, the landscape takes center stage in an almost abstract way, while also integrating "evanescent and ghostly" human presences.
