US painter Chloe Moon has exhibited work in Miami and New York. She mainly works with acrylic on canvas, and sometimes adds collage elements or pencil-drawn accents. Moon draws inspiration from animals, botanicals, different forms of water, light, and the night sky. She combines representative and abstract images hoping not to present a narrative, but rather invoke a mood. Placing seemingly unrelated images in the same plane, Moon's transportative paintings bring the viewer to new, fantastical dimensions.
