About this artwork
I'm fascinated by the edge that exists between abstraction and recognizable imagery. The piece has to be able to be read as as a composed and balanced abstract but the viewer may be able to discern a meaning--in this case one of a landscape that may only exist in a distant dream. It has elements of the far away and unattainable.
