Narrative: Evocation is the act of calling upon or summoning a spirit, demon, deity or other supernatural agent, in the Western mystery tradition. Comparable practices exist in many religions and magical traditions and may employ the use of mind-altering substances with and without uttered word formulas.

Chris Itsell is a talented American sculptor who has exhibited his work nationally. Influenced by the vibrant color spectrum of the American Southwest he grew up around, he constructs sculptures with fluid lines and an almost limitless perspective. Combining metals alongside glass, concrete, stone and wood, his works showcase unexpected transformations of medium, shape, aesthetic and perspective.
