About this artwork
The second in the Bussow abstract series. The primary colours are red and yellow, secondary are blue and green. Painted without preconception the primary colours have been applied first - yellow then red wet on wet. The secondary colours then occupy any blank spaces with some over painting on the primaries and sprayed to blend and create runs. The painting simply explores the relationship between the colours and forms created by their juxtaposition.
