About this artwork
The eleventh in the Bussow abstract series. Acrylic on canvas with blue and violet as primary colours and red, yellow and green as secondary colours. Having initially painted the canvas with a light blue and violet wash, the circular broad brush strokes using red, yellow and violet reappeared. The layering of dark over light gives some depth to the painting and also a feeling of motion.
