Chris Telque is an established French sculptor who has exhibited her work in Canada, Brazil, France and the UK. She frequently depicts animals as a way to convey emotions– particularly those stifled by society, and additionally explores themes such as life, education, autonomy and movement. Her creations have a strong tactile quality and are the result of long technical processes, which Telque enjoys in the face of such a fast-moving world. Her sculptors encourage each viewer to feel closer to oneself and appreciate the gift of life.
