ALGORITHM APPROVED questions the place of art and emotion in the age of social networks. An iconic scene of tenderness is framed and contaminated by the visual codes of digital platforms, transforming the image into content and the artwork into a measurable object.
Through the integration of a painted digital… interface, the artist questions the contemporary injunction to be visible, successful, and validated by the algorithm. Likes, views, and shares become criteria for recognition, imposing on art a logic of standardization and automated approval.
Painting, a material and sensitive object, thus confronts the normative virtuality of social networks, revealing the tension between artistic creation and digital validation.
