About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the unique moment of the sudden appearance of a chestnut horse galloping, at the bend of a forest path, in winter. The mysterious and unreal atmosphere is reinforced by the mimicry between the animal and the frost-covered branches. The entire canvas is in cream and ochre tones.
