About this artwork
I use different painting techniques in my works. When I am not painting on canvas, my subjects are worked on prepared backgrounds based on laminated cardboard, then domed. I then come to paint my compositions in oils, always from nature, following the contours and breaks of the pieces of cardboard used as support, the objective being to give a figurative subject, considered academic, a more contemporary dimension.
