About this artwork
The Fractal-Space Image Series has been created with a modded version of a formula for 3d fractals.
I played with it like synthesizing the sound of its shape. Then I could explore the structure inside the computed volume.
Playing with camera-clipping I created 2-dimensional images from an impossible 3d structure.
Notable is the fact that after the first 'successful' attempt I went on a journey for 2 weeks seeing hundreds
of interesting and inspiring… things until in the end I gave up with a headache.
A year later in a new attempt I was able to create this series of four more Fractal-Space images. Since they were computed in a regular cube instead of the long cuboid base shape from the first attempt it was
a fresh start. Funny-wise it exactly created four working compositions and not one more..
