About this artwork
Pachamama speaks to us of the nourishing aspect of the earth, of abundance. She emerged from the earth and is receptive to what comes to her from the sky. She develops and expands to bring all her benefits to the inhabitants of the earth's surface.
I work intuitively, without any prior research into composition. The paint is prepared with pigments and the colors are applied, one after the other, until I see something. Then I develop it, in dialogue… with the layers below.
