About this artwork
In this work I wanted to capture the beauty of nature and the purity of the sea. The use of acrylic gives the individual shells a vibrant texture, almost as if you could hear the sound of the sea. This wall object is not just a work of art, but a piece of a sublime world that reflects the calm and harmonious interplay of life beneath the water's surface. It brings a calming energy to any room.

« Abstraction is a language of its own that opens up access to unconscious messages and emotions in its playful freedom. »
After having grown up in a creative family, with a mother who painted a lot and a father who was a wood sculptor, German artist Christina Reiter has now forged her own path forward as a painter and sculptor. Primarily dealing with themes of nature - as a place of refuge, meditation and regeneration, she composes large abstract landscapes that encompass zen-like qualities and act as windows into other worlds.
