Christine Noel is an artist based in Italy who has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in Belgium and Morocco. She describes her art as a "reading game", where the viewer observes the colored parts, then discovers the engraved components. Finally, by uniting the two stories, the viewer discovers a third, which may, or may not, coincide with the one Noel had imagined. Her modern compositions are created using the ancient techniques of water gilding and incision on flattened wood.
