About this artwork
A standard product of daily use from the supermarket is implemented in a hyper-realistic way without labeling or designation. Reduced to form, color and a few graphic elements, it loses all identifiability, resulting in uncertainty about use.
In everyday life we supply ourselves with industrial products of which we actually hardly know anything about the content.

« Having grown up in Switzerland, I cherish one of the scarcest goods in this country: sunshine. Therefore light has become an important element in my paintings. »
Eberle is a formally trained architect and self-taught hyper realistic painter from Switzerland. He is inspired by snapshots of everyday life - the way the light hits the pavement on the way into town, the simplicity of a laundry room. His resulting paintings are visceral tributes to brief lived instances of clarity and perfection.
