About this artwork
acrylic on canvas mounted on frame.
Imaginative work.
In Greek mythology, Eurydice (in ancient Greek Εὐρυδίκη / Eurudíkê, formed from the words εὐρύς / eurús ["broad, vast, boundless"] and δίκη / dikê ["justice"], meaning "to boundless justice") is a dryad (nymph of the trees and in particular of the oak).

Christophe Desrayaud
France
« I don't paint to seduce, but to please ... or not. »
Christophe Desrayaud does not seek anatomical accuracy in his compositions, his artistic approach being rather dreamlike. Many of his works are related to the sea, as the French painter is also a diving instructor and has visited oceans around the world. His style is an interpretation and mixture of Fauvism and Expressionism. Desrayaud uses artistic and industrial acrylics on canvases prepared with polyvinyl acetate.
