About this artwork
A textured composition of light and dark interacting across a vast skyscape giving the viewer a sense of movement and depth. Deepest blues and dark indigo/purple contrast with multiple shades and highlights of blue and white, punctuating the visual field. Areas of fresco texture are highlighted via distressed effects creating even more random movement and a heavier weight. Signed lower right in gold. Gallery wrapped thick professional canvas, unframed…
on wooden support backing.

« I think people underestimate the restorative qualities that art brings into one's life. Color and movement in abstract art can produce a feeling of hope and optimism. »
Christopher Fox is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in France. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as Paper City Magazine. Fox often refers to his compositions as "abstract skyscapes", due to the colors, depth, and movement. In his artistic process, he employs layering techniques with acrylics on canvas or wood.
