A painting inspired by a painting by Vermeer of a lady… wearing a blue dress while reading a letter. In this interpretation the lady is facing in the opposite direction giving her back towards the window and is holding a digital device in her hands. Symbolically the lady is giving her back to the natural light coming from the window while artificial light illuminates her face, same as humanity is ignoring what is natural and living a materialistic life.
