Rooted in a traditional foundation, Arkanov’s early work emerges from the physical act of painting—a fusion of acrylics, silicone and organic oils, ink, and resin on canvas, wood, and plexiglass. These materials respond not only to the hand, but to time and gravity, creating compositions that often feel discovered rather than constructed.
