About this artwork
This painting was a real conceptual piece for me, based on the Apple computer ad campaign "Think Different". I noticed how we, as consumers, are so conditioned to identifying products by their labels or logos. I mixed these two products to prove that truth. We just assume that a label/logo is the product and the producer of the item we're looking to purchase.

Chuck Middlekauff is a mixed media painter with a BA in Fine Art from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and an Associate Degree in Design and Advertising from the Art Institute of Colorado, Denver, Colorado.
He spent several years in graphic design and commercial art in Denver, and Los Angeles before pursuing a career as a fine artist.
Chuck paints American culture icons in visually stimulating bright colors and bold graphic compositons. He wants others to experience the things the way he sees them, the America of today, and of days gone by, but in a fresh and unusual way.
Chuck says, "I paint everything I have ever seen or heard that excited me."
