About this artwork
I love dogs, that's why I made this series. I've been doing commissioned artwork of pets for several years, including dogs, horses, cats, and birds.
My dog has helped me to be a better person, and that's why I'm wearing flowers in my hair, following the women's series, with flowers in my hair to celebrate these beautiful little animals.

Cinthya González Picazo is a Mexican visual artist and writer whose practice explores spirituality, transformation, identity, nature, and the human experience through painting and words.
Her pictorial work combines vibrant color, fragmented forms, geometry, gesture and symbolism, creating a visual language in which animals, nature, female figures and spiritual elements function as symbols of intuition, connection, protection and transformation.
In her writing, she develops a parallel practice between poetry, reflection, and creative writing, addressing themes such as introspection, fear, hope, empowerment, self-love, human relationships, and processes of personal reconstruction. Her book, 11:11: Spiritual and Material Parallelism, brings together thoughts and texts that emerged from these processes of inner exploration.
