About this artwork
As a child I had dreams about stalactites, I suppose because I was impressed by natural caves and grottoes. The white drops that appear in the paint are representations of these natural formations that generated so much impact in my life.

Cinthya González Picazo is a Mexican visual artist and writer whose practice explores spirituality, transformation, identity, nature, and the human experience through painting and words.
Her pictorial work combines vibrant color, fragmented forms, geometry, gesture and symbolism, creating a visual language in which animals, nature, female figures and spiritual elements function as symbols of intuition, connection, protection and transformation.
In her writing, she develops a parallel practice between poetry, reflection, and creative writing, addressing themes such as introspection, fear, hope, empowerment, self-love, human relationships, and processes of personal reconstruction. Her book, 11:11: Spiritual and Material Parallelism, brings together thoughts and texts that emerged from these processes of inner exploration.
