About this artwork
My series "Broken" began in 2013 when I realized the injustices of the world of work in all sectors of the world, a society in which I have refused to take part because unjustly women are not only baby-making machines, we need value us in every sense of the word, paint Ula White in large format with white flowers to underline this Statement.
For me they represent the flourishing of women in society, waiting for a new era of gender equality, since… I was born I have lived a transition of inclusion and changes in the face of discrimination against women, and today I see it more clearly than ever that it is a international level. That is why I paint women with flowers on their heads.

Cinthya Picazo is a Mexican artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom and the United States. His works have also appeared in VOGUE Great Britain. Picazo's pieces reflect her activism for gender equality, the environment and the care of flora and fauna. Working in a style of figurative and cubist inspiration, he uses the fragmentation of elements to generate a whole. Use acrylics, oils, pigments, lacquers and Gesso when creating.
