Cinzia Romeo, trained in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria, uses acrylic, ballpoint pen, charcoal, and watercolor pencils to create works with a powerful emotional impact. Her simple technique is expressed through glazes and incisions, giving life to transparent and fragmented bodies that oscillate between the dreamlike and the symbolic. Her works convey intense introspection, exploring rebirth, trauma, memory, and desire: they are scars, tears, and embraces that recount an inner journey toward liberation and a new self-awareness.
