About this artwork
Paint and recovered paper on plasterboard framed in OSB. The frame is inspired by the shapes of a stained glass window, a window, and therefore an opening, but the painting remains undeniably opaque. If this window is not an opening to an outside landscape, it is necessarily to something else.
The symbol is engraved in the plaster.

« I paint the poetry of ghosts, of absences. »
Cirt Hash is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. he describes his works as often refering to a certain solitude and intimacy. The characters in Hash's composiitons, who he refers to as ghosts, are noone and everyone, as their faces are never represented. In addition, he the texts in his compositions are invented or borrowed from song lyrics, translating a state of mind, but always leaving room for multiple interpretations.
