Claire B. Masimbert is a French painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally. In her figurative compositions, which she identifies with modern art brut, her subjects are often depicted in movement. This symbolizes an encounter, the otherness, and the reflection of the other in the mirror. Masimbert describes her characters as "seeking to advance and to allow themselves to be". Her painterly compositions are created using acrylics and India ink, her sculptures are made of cement, wood, and steel.
