About this artwork
Rythmes is part of the minimalist series, but in which the artist plays with textures and inks. We see the work of water and ink, then textiles and finally a last layer of sienna ink, which brings depth and recalls the theme of the original garden. This triptych is like a hyphen in the works of Claire. Moreover, she names her shadows "the commas", like a breath, the means of linking all her themes. Beings in movement, who reflect their tomorrow,…
without freeing themselves from an essential step: going out on their own and meeting others. In this triptych, we perceive a street scene, passers-by, one of them will soon meet the others. .
the inks on canvas are each 50 cm X 70 cm and are presented in custom black American cases. They can be joined together as separate.

Claire B. Masimbert is a French painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally. In her figurative compositions, which she identifies with modern art brut, her subjects are often depicted in movement. This symbolizes an encounter, the otherness, and the reflection of the other in the mirror. Masimbert describes her characters as "seeking to advance and to allow themselves to be". Her painterly compositions are created using acrylics and India ink, her sculptures are made of cement, wood, and steel.
