This large painting was created by using an experimental technique of placing buttery oil sticks on a black gesso canvas. The composition consists of a vibrant multi-colored semi abstract figure crouching. Colors explode behind him like light particles, our hero is crouched on an organic yet digital ground he contemplates the coming age of technology. Behind him suggestions of leaves and trees bearing fruit, oranges perhaps, which fall to the ground…
at his feet. Have we forsaken the fruits provided by nature in our pursuit for more technology?
