About this artwork
In my artwork, I explore the interaction of chance and structures. Natural phenomena like gravity and flow fascinate me. I also have a long-standing interest in mark making. This dialogue of chance, gesture and structure is the foundational basis for my artwork.

Clare Asch is a Hungarian artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. Her creative process combines an expressive approach with geometric structure. Influenced by abstract expressionism and color field painting, when Asch creates she does not think in terms of theories or messages, she simply paints what she feels.
