About this artwork
I was invited by a friend to spend a vacation in Hammamet, I had a good time there and I was inspired, and that's why I made this painting "one day on the beach in Hammamet", by a good atmosphere, the beach, the sea, the sun, meeting people, and a good smell of jasmine- Children playing, a man who observes quietly in his corner, as well as a young woman....

Claude Laurent is an experimented painter, photographer, draftsman, and sculptor based in France whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, and Germany. Describing herself as an "artist of positivism", her vibrant compositions are inspired by life, people, and experiences. Since she believes that "art has no frontiers", Laurent integrates "everyone" into her pieces. She paints using acrylics, oils, spray paint, and pastels on linen or synthetic board.
