About this artwork
In this work, I seek to capture the ephemeral essence of light and the emotions it evokes. With oil, I layer colors and textures to create a dialogue between the abstract and the tangible. The organic shapes seem to emerge from the canvas, sparking intrigue and personal interpretations. This canvas is a true source of energy and warmth which will enliven and enrich the space it inhabits.

Claude Sauzet is an award-winning French painter who has exhibited nationally, as well as in Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Monaco, Belgium, Cameroon, Cyprus, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, Venezuela and the Ivory Coast. He chooses subjects based on their lines and admits that his works may contain messages without his knowledge. Inspired by Italian Renaissance painters, Sauzet favors warm colors, oils and glaze to obtain transparency and depths in his compositions.
