It swarms, it crawls, it grows, it spreads out, it swells, it wobbles, it dances and it giggles, it never gives in, it always transforms, it never ceases to seize us and abandon us, it can break at any time, but it starts all over again: Life in the superb confusion of births and cataclysms.
The progression from drawing to painting and sculpture seen as culmination, to better mark out the trajectory… of the characters reduced to their carnal and immaterial envelope, responding to each other in a last breath on the edge of the abyss.

Claude Serpaggi is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. Through his figurative art, he explores the human condition. The state of Serpaggi's characters is always precarious and on the threshold of chaos, suggesting suffering and the tragic nature of life. He most often creates using oils, resin, pencils, and pastels on paper or wood.
