Claudia Acksteiner works with acrylic and oil paints as well as with fluorescent and luminescent pigments. She trained as a painter and studied art therapy. Her artistic practice is characterized by a versatile, intuitive and experimental style in which she likes to change her techniques and cross conventional boundaries. Acksteiner's works are metaphorical transcendence of the visible, inspired by light, nature and the depths of the human soul, creating feelings of longing, hope and mindfulness.
