About this artwork
In this series, I would like to use my pictures to make the beauty of nature tangible in a rather unusual way.
As with many of my works, this painting was created in several steps. I digitally edited a photograph I took until I created images of jellyfish in the deep sea. I then had this digital image printed on canvas and painted a blue deep-sea jellyfish on this canvas using acrylic paints.
A world emerged that is still largely unknown to us.… This image stimulates the viewer's imagination.
