About this artwork
A dense, deep flow crosses the surface, as if the water were becoming thought, memory, emotion.
In this work I wanted to evoke the intensity of stormy oceans, but above all the inner sea that each of us carries within us.
The deep and restless Paris blue mixes with lighter traces like flashes of consciousness, in an abstract vortex that recalls the movement of the soul.
It's a sea that isn't seen from the outside, but listened to from within.… A painting that digs, not describes. That reveals, not illustrates.
From October 18th to November 15th the work was chosen for exhibition at the Mazzoleni Foundation in Lombardy.
Claudia Amadesi blends multi-material techniques and a passion for nature in her material and minimalist works, transmitting fearless courage in artistic exploration. The works stand out for their ability to play with light, modify matter and use it as a tool to deconstruct and rework reality, transporting the observer into a spiritual dimension. The boundaries with reality become blurred, allowing us to glimpse in each work the fruit of the visceral and interior impulse, grit that characterizes expressive artistic research through the “groove” technique. It is a tale of emotions and sensations, a journey into the depths of the soul. The matter, in her hands, becomes dynamic, comes to life in space, creating plays of light and shadow that amplify the visual experience, an invitation to a profound dialogue between the visible and the invisible, between emotion and matter.
