"Split" is a material work, the exact moment of a break and a transformation. On an absolute white wall, dense and material, a golden fracture opens up that crosses the canvas vertically, like a luminous wound. The texture of the surface, irregular and scratched by horizontal signs, contrasts with the purity of the white, suggesting stratifications of time, memory and matter. The metallic gold drips and emerges from the crack that represents something…
