About this artwork
RUINS. The road to transformation.
How do you cope when your hole life changes and you become lost?
I feel so alone. I just know everyone has had to make sacrifices lately and that's life sometimes. I feel like i've had to give up everything I love the past half a year and it's been so painful. I know in myself I've fought so hard. I have tried the best I could. I must accept what is out of my control and let life do as it will. I want to just… give a final goodbye to this chapter of life ... because my life (and maybe everyonce's) as I know it is going to change whether I want it or not.
Goodbye. I have loved you and your lessons. I will miss holding on. I will keep shinning my light even if it is dim and weak right now. I don't know what's next but we will keep the fight. All my love and best wishes for you all!

Claudia Barbu describes art as a fundamental pillar of her life. The Spain-based artist employs themes in her paintings that capture emotions, allowing the spontaneous to emerge. Creating in a figurative style, he paints with bold and messy brush strokes, forming a dynamic composition. In her artistic process, Barbu uses acrylics, oils and charcoal on canvas or paper.
