The focus of the "Traces" series is the human being as a whole. It is not about depicting an external reality, but about making visible the inner truth of the human being, which is shaped by his own emotionality, his history and his inner questions.
The message behind it is a homage to the uniqueness… of human beings, with all their thoughts, feelings and experiences. Contradictions and ruptures are part of it and open the perception to what is hidden behind the shell.

Claudia Keupen is the winner of the Premio de Arte, Artists of Mallorca 2023. The artworks of the Spanish-based artist have been exhibited internationally.
Her works explore the question of what is hidden beyond the visible world and invite enigmatic perspectives of perception. She describes her artistic world as emotional, poetic, mysterious and full of magic. Claudia Keupen's distinctive compositions are figurative or abstract. Text elements often flow into her works, as poetry is an important source of inspiration to her. She works in a multidisciplinary way, combining analogue and digital techniques.
