« I consider myself a citizen of the world. Is it not the principle of universality that prevails? Bringing us back to the one and only essence of our being: humanity. »
The central themes inherent in Claudie Titty Dimbeng's art involve African spirituality and its contribution to humanity. She also portrays African divinities, Bambara mythology, ideograms of the Agran civilization, as well as the place of women as seen through their pleasure and sexuality, and their power to give birth. Dimbeng creates using mixed art relief, blending techniques, shapes, colors, and materials to produce an organic composition that contributes to the relief of an abstract, semi-abstract, or figurative work.
