About this artwork
You can see the figure of a very young woman in a traditional Korean robe. She sits on a chair with one leg bent and looks sideways to the left of the picture into the distance. The long skirt of the robe completely covers the lower body. The woman wears a dark updo and has no make-up. The robe consists of the eponymous silk and has the typical warm sheen of genuine mulberry silk.
