About this artwork
This is a Zen creation. The Enso meets Ying-Yang, Balance of dark and light and the cycle of creation and energy. It's about letting go and shutting my mind off. creating the circle and marks from a place of complete peace. The art of letting go and letting each side complete one another in perfect unity.. see the video at https://vimeo.com/427895227
This is on a custom built, museum quality wood panel that he has specifically built for his works.… It does not require a frame and the edges are finished in a gloss black paint, giving it a modern and clean feel. This provides a nicer surface over canvas.

« Art can help us grow, heal our hearts, excite our senses, and inspire new ideas. It's one of the most valuable gifts to society. »
Cody Hooper is an American artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions in the United States. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as the American Art Collector and Art Business News. Since Hooper believes that "you must know the dark to see the light", his compositions translate both struggle and triumph. His evocative abstractions are created using acrylics, pigments, and collage on wood.
