J'ai participé au festival de danse Jacob's Pillow à Beckett, dans le Massachusetts. La Limón Dance Company avait un danseur qui prenait sa retraite, et je me suis sentie très honorée de voir cet arc de leur dernière danse. J'étais tellement émue que je l'ai peinte.

Colleen Surprise Jones recently earned her MFA at Paris College of Art in (contemporary) Drawing. Afterward, she completed an internship at Galerie Joseph Tang just outside Paris. Jones builds her narratives in quick-drying paint and graphite. Her style, born of spontaneity, rejects preconceived outcomes, promoting immersive exploration and fluid transformation. Her work radiates spirituality, eternity, and mental health resonances, stirring visceral responses crucial to her art's completion. She often returns to her dance roots and utilises her feet in the creation of the work.
