About this artwork
The sun was hitting this row of apple trees just right while the artist was walking in France, that she had to stop a take a photo. Most of her paintings are based on the photos she takes of the things that inspire her.

« "The romance of the countryside, the warmth of an intimate interior, the vibrant colours and cool shadows in a sunlit flower garden, are only some of the visuals that inspire my paintings." »
Connie Winters is an award-winning painter from the United States. Her art has been extensively exhibited nationally and is featured in the private corporate collections of Coca-Cola and John Randolph Hearst Jr. She channels her love of flower gardening, of France, and her admiration of the great French impressionist painters into her art. Winters likens painting to a puzzle, with color being the most important piece. Having experimented with watercolors and acrylics, she now prefers to create using oils.
