About this artwork
My work is an original one of a kind. I want to provoke an emotional reaction, and my work can convey various ideas and emotions, good and bad. My paintings can have a myriad of meanings and mean different things to different people, and there has to be something in the painting that makes someone want to hang it on their wall and live with it for a long time.
I like to experiment until I can find the best way to transfer my vision onto the canvas.… I don't want my work to blend into the background; I want it to be a significant part of the foreground.
Whatever the painting, People, Lovers, Goddess or Eggs, I want something unique that brings it to life. Something that draws in the eye and you can look at it a thousand times, and you will still notice something different about it,

I recently had a surprise visit from Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj of Selangor, Malaysia. It was a moment of immense pride when HRH not only visited my studio but also purchased two of my paintings and asked for a signed copy of my book, Egg Island.
