About this artwork
This is a view of the boathouse district on the Oklahoma River in Oklahoma City. Corbyn combined a few elements from nearby locations such as the OKC statue and the Ferris Wheel, (which is the same Ferris wheel that was on the Santa Monica Pier in California). Corbyn wanted to feature the modern architecture in this piece with a surreal yellow sky. This piece looks very modern but has classical touches of Impressionism as seen in the reflections…
in the water. This is a high quality gallery wrapped canvas that requires no frame.
