About this artwork
In this monotype work, I explored the depths of expressionism and the figurative to capture strong emotional movement. Each line is imbued with raw passion, a dance between shadow and light, where bright red emerges like a cry in the night. It is a reflection of inner struggle, a visual statement that will energize and provoke contemplation in any space it inhabits.

Corinne Cesca’s art has been exhibited throughout her native France while being featured in such publications as Le Parisian and Magazine Miroir de L’art. The sculptor and printmaker expresses herself through representations of the human form. As in life, her characters speak of diversity, joy and anger, as well as movement. Cesca’s process begins by drawing on a metal plate using various tools, intaglio inks and pigments, which she then transfers onto paper.
